Your Guide to Choosing the Records Storage System that's Right for You
The first step to choosing the right storage system is to determine how often you will need to access the contents and howmuch space you have for storage. Based on these factors, you can choose between storage drawers and storage boxes.

Storage Drawers
If you need frequent access to your files, have limited storage space or if your storage space has no shelving unit, choose a systemof storage drawers.

Bankers Box® Storage Drawers are available in three strengths. The stronger the drawers, the higher they can be stacked:

  • Maximum strength stacks up to 10 drawers high
  • Extra strength stacks up to five drawers high
  • Basic strength stacks two drawers high Storage Boxes

If you have infrequent need to retrieve files and relatively more storage space-with or without shelving units, choose a system of storage boxes.

  • Available with a variety of closures

2. Type of Records to be Stored

Find a box that accommodates the types of records you want to store:

  • Letter size
  • Legal size
  • Checks

3. Assembly Type

Some records storage boxes are easier to assemble:

  • For the fastest assembly, choose FastFold-one easy step with the added benefit of greater strength
  • For the most economical solution, Bankers Box also offers standard set-up boxes

4. Lid Security

  • String and Button Closure-for the most secure closure for file transport and storage
  • Locking Lift-off Lids-for easy access and the high security of grip-locking tabs

  • Flip Top Lids-hinged design prevents the accidental loss of lid
